I will keep this post short and sweet! It’s been two weeks since I’ve been home from the 2019 ACFW Conference. Attending a conference isn’t cheap but He totally provided through my proofreading job with Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas (which is now Iron Stream Media as of September 2019.
So…here we go!
The badge I had to wear. I snagged the Superhero ribbon from Susan May Warren’s table. The Dallas/Ft. Worth local chapter of ACFW won Chapter of the Year. Congrats!
The ladies behind me are members of my critique group. It was so fun seeing them in the hall and touching base with them. They are L to R – Deborah Clack, Kay Learned, and Sherrina Ketchersid.
Me and Deborah at the gala where they presented awards to published and unpublished authors.
Me with author and literary agent Cynthia Ruchti.
The 3 pound cinnamon roll I bought on my way out of San Antonio at Lulu’s Cafe.
Me and Sharon Mondragon. She told me the most fascinating things about prayer shawls.
A group of girls I met while there. The girl second from left was my roommate.
And finally, Nancy Naigle who writes for Hallmark. Yes, Hallmark. She was sitting at my gala table and when I noticed her name tag I fangirled her!
And…last but not least. I became Cinderella the night of the gala. If you’re a member of my newsletter I’ll be sending my subscribers the story. It’s super fun. Sign up here!
